Matcha is a type of finely ground, high-quality green tea that has been consumed in Japan for centuries. Before harvest, tea bushes are covered for several weeks, which increases their levels of amino acids, antioxidants, and chlorophyll, giving matcha a vibrant green color.
The leaves are then harvested, steamed, dried, and ground into a fine powder using traditional granite stone mills. This process ensures thatthe tea retains its natural nutrients and antioxidants.
